c&rsquo;<strong>est la plus ancienne \u00e9glise de Logro\u00f1o<\/strong> et une le\u00e7on d&rsquo;histoire en pierre. Sa construction a commenc\u00e9 au XIIe si\u00e8cle et s&rsquo;est poursuivie au XIIIe si\u00e8cle, de sorte que le style roman encore visible (le chevet et les premi\u00e8res sections de la tour) coexiste avec le style gothique qui est arriv\u00e9 plus tard avec un d\u00e9sir de hauteur et de drame dans le m\u00eame b\u00e2timent. <\/p><p>La vedette de l&rsquo;ensemble est sa <strong>couverture<\/strong>, une authentique \u00ab\u00a0bande dessin\u00e9e m\u00e9di\u00e9vale\u00a0\u00bb sculpt\u00e9e : des sc\u00e8nes qui racontent la vie et le martyre du saint, vignette par vignette, comme si la pierre avait une m\u00e9moire propre. C&rsquo;est l&rsquo;une de ces fa\u00e7ades qui fonctionnent sans manuel : m\u00eame si vous ne connaissez pas l&rsquo;art, vous comprenez qu&rsquo;ici quelqu&rsquo;un a voulu raconter une histoire pour tous, y compris pour ceux qui ne savaient pas lire. <\/p><p>Et puis il y a la tour, qui a un pass\u00e9 pratique : dans de nombreuses villes du Nord, les temples assuraient aussi la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, et leur verticalit\u00e9 permettait de surveiller, d&rsquo;orienter et, le cas \u00e9ch\u00e9ant, de r\u00e9sister. C&rsquo;est pourquoi St Bartholomew&rsquo;s n&rsquo;est pas seulement \u00ab\u00a0joli\u00a0\u00bb : il est <strong>strat\u00e9gique<\/strong>. <\/p><p>D\u00e9tail architectural avec lequel jouer : observez les diff\u00e9rences entre le roman (plus massif, plus \u00ab\u00a0calme\u00a0\u00bb) et le gothique (plus pointu, plus \u00ab\u00a0je veux monter\u00a0\u00bb). C&rsquo;est comme regarder la mode changer&#8230; mais en plusieurs si\u00e8cles. Et si vous venez ici sur le Camino, il y a un plus : ici, vous ne faites pas que passer, vous comprenez pourquoi Logro\u00f1o a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 une \u00e9tape importante.
